Whenever I see rhubarb, it makes me think back to when I was a child. My grandma has had a vegetable garden for as long as I can remember, and rhubarb was in there as well. Since kids don't really like sour tastes, she had a different way to learn us how to eat it: a stalk of rhubarb and a little plate with sugar next to it, to dip it in. I can perfectly remember the crispy crunch from the sugar and the sourish taste of the rhubarb. Delicious!

If I have to choose one thing to take with me on a deserted island (make-up wise), it would be mascara. When I was 13, I bought my first mascara from Essence. It is a cheap brand, perfect for a 14-year-old, who doesn't know anything about make-up. I had bought that mascara for a reason: the upcoming school party. It basically is the first 'party' I ever went to, and it was something everyone wanted to dress up for. When I look back on it, there was nothing special about it (one of our teachers was the DJ!), but I had a lot of fun. Sadly enough for me, my mom discovered my purchase and took it away, so I ended up at the school party without mascara.

Whenever I go through a stressy period, my skin tends to break out. It seems as if it feels what I'm going through and thinks 'Oh, let's just make this worse'. During such times, I feel as if my skin needs some pushing to get back on track. That's when I like to grab a mask and enjoy. I usually have some masks for acne-prone skin lying around to tame my skin and make sure I can go outdoors the next day.

My mother has a love-hate relationship with my baking addiction. She loves the fact that I make yummy things for her but she hates having to lend me her kitchen to experiment and make a mess of it. Although I clean up very neatly afterwards, she isn't a fan of sharing her kitchen.That results into 'the sigh'. Whenever I tell her 'Oh mom, I feel like baking something!', the first thing she does is sighing very deeply, saying 'There it is again'. I know my cleaning isn't as good as the cleaning lady, but I definitely think I do a good job! There is only one rule we have set. Since the cleaning lady comes on thursday, that is a forbidden day to cook. Friday is difficult, but from saturday on she accepts it. And, even better, wednesday is the day where everything is possible!
