Before you are thinking: 'what the hell are you doing, you're putting vegetables in dessert?', stop! Hold your horses, dear. I know, I know, it doesn't sound delicious at all. As soon as our garden is filled with walnuts, I know it is fall. Yup, for some people fall may be falling leaves or hot drinks, but for me it's gathering walnuts. We have a huge (and beautiful) walnut tree in the back of our garden and I really love it - until the nuts start to fall down. Each time I go to Starbucks, I go crazy while standing in line. The pastries in there all look so delicious! I never really end up ordering something, except for their granola bar once. Some time ago, I was browsing through one of my favourite cooking blogs, Uit Pauline's Keuken, when I bumped into her Starbucks lemon cake recipe. It looked so delicious I just had to make it!
