REVIEW | Essence 3D Eyeshadow
Both of those were from Essence, so I knew they had to have similar colours now. You cannot imagine how happy I was when I saw this on the counter. The case had a white halo around it and was shining harder than the other colours. Okay, not really, but you can see how happy I was, right? They changed their packaging again and now sell it as a 3D eyeshadow duo. Personally, I'm not really a fan of the packaging. Since it's not flat, it cannot be stacked. Although the waves are cool, I don't think they are really necessary. But at least they didn't change the colours, so that's all I have to say that's bad actually.
These colours are very neutral and can be worn by anyone! No need to worry it won't match your eye colour. I must say: the colour payoff of the brown colour isn't amazing, but that's what I like about it. It gives just enough colour to make a contrast and create depth on your eyes, but you still have a very neutral look. I'm all about neutral currently. I like to swipe the cream colour all over my eyelid and I apply the caramel colour into my crease. Instead of focusing on the outer crease, focus on the entire crease! This helps with creating depth and makes it look better.
I always use eyeshadow primer (I use this one) and although this is a cheap eyeshadow duo, these colours last all day. They blend really well because the payoff isn't crazy and they make your eyes pop a little more, without being too noticeable. Can you tell I'm completely obsessed? Oh, and there's a lot of product in here too. So, cheap + beautiful + great value = you should go buy this asap. You're welcome.
