Une nouvelle aventure

A title in French? Very much yes! Now if you're wondering why on earth I'm writing a title in French, don't be worried. It's just for this one time. But why in French? Well, because I'm studying in Namur for the first semester of the academic year! That is also the reason why the hell I haven't been posting anything in over two weeks. Life has been extremely hectic, that's what I can say.

TASTE TEST | Albert Heijn Oatmeal

As you probably already know, I love my oatmeal. I eat it everyday if I have the time and I'm usually a little (aka very) sad whenever I don't have time or ingredients. While I was at Albert Heijn to pick up my favourite oats - AH Basic Oatmeal - I came across something new. Instant oats! I often buy little pots like these on the plane when I'm travelling (go Ryanair!) but I hadn't seen them in any supermarkets. Of course I had to try these out!

Workout Music

I shared some tips to start running a while ago, and one of them was to try out running with some music. I love working out, but I need some up tempo beats to keep me going! When I go running, I always take my iPod because it's small and convenient to take, but I often use Spotify to listen to music while working out at home . I first listened to several different playlists while working out, but there were always songs I would skip every single time. I made my own playlist and thought it would be fun to share!

Raspberry Cheesecake Brownies

Remember my Tinsel review? I tried their cheesecake brownie and loved it! I like a brownie from time to time, but I often think it's too overpowering and heavy. I love that the cream cheese neutralizes the heaviness and makes it a little fresher! I was looking for delicious things to make and suddenly thought that cheesecake brownies would be perfect.

Home Decor

Summer is almost over, and that can mean only one thing: school! And bad weather too, but what's the difference? I still have two weeks before university starts again and I'll be enjoying my free time to the fullest in Spain! For the first semester of the scholar year, I will be doing an Erasmus in Namur, a city in the French part of Belgium. Since I will be staying there throughout the week, I'm looking for some stuff to make my room a little cozier and more personal! I'm very excited about it all, so I thought I'd share the things I'm liking.

Apple Tartelettes

It's been shamingly long since I posted a recipe. The last proper recipe I made was for my tanned blondies and that was over two months ago! How time flies.. This week, I finally had time to dive into the kitchen again and since we had some apples in our fridge that had had their best time, I wanted to make something with apples. I've been working at Le Pain Quotidien the past month and all the beautiful and delicious pies and tartelettes inspired me to make apple tartelettes!

HAUL | Catrice It Pieces Limited Edition Collection

I love how being a blogger is the perfect excuse to buy new makeup or beauty things. I can always justify my purchases by saying I really 'need' it for a review or a haul. So when I stopped at Kruidvat last week, I couldn't leave these things behind! They're both from Catrice and are part of the It Pieces collection, which is the limited edition collection for the summer. It's supposed to be in stores through July and August, but I hadn't seen the collection before last week! I feel like the stores are often a little late with their collection. Here are my first impressions!
